He spent a few days on dry paddock jail.
Then he was perfectly fine!

Now I haven’t seen him in 4 days

Tomorrow
We will see
If he is ok to take on
A 6 mile local lake jaunt.

Instead, of riding last week I came home and took the dogs for a jaunt
Where I would have been riding.

The old dog griffin barely made two miles and had to rest on white flower covered hills

The young dog Murphy can go for miles!  So much energy!  We managed 4...considering the old dogs strider

I remember pitch black

"Perhaps best of all, the Sierra aspens are starting to turn. I had hoped to make a quick trip to the "east side" today, but that turned out to not be possible. However, I'm hearing from quite a few sources that the aspens have turned in a major way at some of the higher locations, and over the color show should continue and peak over the next week or two."
