SEPTEMBER WANING

 September waning...

...October now gaining

Azure skyes of bleu

Shining sweetly on you

Colorful corn

Autumn gourds

Now

Decorate the table

Orange and Red

Cloaking the gable

A kiss of sunshine still lingers

Reaching through leafy fingers

Surrounding me

With last of summers warmth

Shimmering color

Upon each and every tree

Drenched in Light

Oh this Autumn Flight

Drink in the festivities

Soak up the sight

Be filled with

Autumn Delight

I SEE

 The Strawberry Moon

Full and bright

Reflection at waters edge

I am here

***********

You are there

Do you see the moon

Full and bright

Or

Struggling to beam

In Smokey light?

Home 🏠

 YOU

Are always looking

Never seem satisfied

Feeling like you missed out on something

Back in time

Revisiting the past

Wondering

WHAT IF

The answer is this

HOME

YOU

are looking for

HOME

maybe it’s right in front of you

Are you afraid to ask?

Sunset

It’s That Kind of a Morning

 It’s that kind of morning

Crisp

Sparkling grass

Dripping wet from recent rains

Dogs breath steaming upward

Sunlit fluffy clouds drift

Pushed along

By a skiff of a breeze

Settling in the valleys

Clinging to the trees

Finally feels like fall
