Depression

I’m sure you know it better then I do.
No doubt it affects us differently
But also the same

This abnormal world we live in
My body, oft in pain
Having to return
To chaotic work
After 3 weeks off.

I try to be hopeful
And to have faith

My mind wants to shut everything out
It does and has relief when I can get away
But I can not get away far enough
Or for long enough
Noise oft pierces the air :(

I don’t want to see photos of ES
I can’t go there
I can’t go to the closer higher elevation either
Parking areas all closed

Then today
Slammed to the ground!  Again!
Hard pack gravel, dust, weeds
Now I have new pains where I had none
Scraped and bruised
All because of a “freight train!”
I’ve NEVER seen a dog run so fast!!!
